The El Morro Jog-A-Thon is our school’s biggest fundraising event of the year. Students, along with our community, have the opportunity to support their minds and bodies, while raising money for important school programs. Students engage with their community, family, local companies, and connections to collect pledges and donations as they prepare for their big Jog-A-Thon day!
 

Event Details

• The Jog-A-Thon is not only a fundraiser, as well as an event for the whole school. Fundraising begins after our Jog-A-Thon assembly where kids learn about the fundraising goal, see Whiskers the Sea Lion, set up their fundraising pages, and hear about the amazing prizes and incentives. 

• Day of Jog-A-Thon is a great event for students, staff, sponsors, and our community as a whole! All students are invited to jog or walk the track on El Morro’s field. Community members join in the fun, Crystal Cove State Park Rangers and Lifeguards, Laguna Beach Police Department and Fire Department, and even Whiskers make an appearance. A live DJ keeps things exciting with music and runners can track each lap thanks to Step In Time. After the 25 minute run, all students walk through our Sponsor Swag and receive goodies from our amazing sponsors. We love when our community joins in on the fun!

• Jog-A-Thon concludes with a Wrap-Up Assembly where kids are rewarded to top-runners and top-fundraisers. We love to highlight and encourage kids to participate as much as they can.
